May is Coming! Plan with Me!

It's time to look ahead to May and see what is coming. For me, I'm having a Super Mario themed birthday party for all 3 of my dragons, as their birthdays are all within a 6 week period. But, there are also some other big days in May that need planning for.

1. The first week of May is Teacher Appreciation Week! Read this article for teacher appreciation gifts for your in-person teacher or virtual teacher! Don't be caught off guard. Plan ahead so you aren't at Target the night before trying decide between two mugs your teacher probably already has.

2. Cinco De Mayo! Check out 4 Dudes BBQ (more about their channel below) for excellent Smoked Salsa and Marinated Carne Asada Tacos. Dessert recipe coming this week! Mango Lime Icebox Cake!

3. Mother's Day. Look for an article on a DIY Mother's Day gift idea for grandmothers in your life. If you aren't sure what you want for Mother's Day make sure to read here.

4. Memorial Day. Are you planning to barbecue? I have the site for you. My husband and my little dragons have their own BBQ YouTube channel, 4 Dudes BBQ. There are some great ideas on their site for BBQing with you kids. I linked their Pork Shoulder video below. Look for the Beef Ribs video too...soo good.

Speaking of Memorial Day, who always forgets to get their kids new clothes for the BBQ or picnic? Me! This year I'm getting them their summer patriotic gear early before it sells it out.
